Comings and goings

The University of Arkansas (UA) has chosen Ohio State University (OSU) professor Daniel Sui to serve as its new Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation. In his new role, effective October 1st this year, Sui will be responsible for building UA’s research program, developing research infrastructure and capacity, and spearheading innovation initiatives.

He will work with faculty, deans, administrative leadership, federal government, industry and nonprofit organizations to achieve these goals. In addition to his post at OSU, Sui has served as division director at the National Science Foundation.
