UIDP is hosting an in-person workshop June 7-9 in Ithaca, NY, “UIDP X-Urban Cornell,” focused on strategies for universities in non-urban areas to boost external engagement and enhance economic growth.

Spurred by renewed national interest and federal funding to establish innovation engines in non-urban areas, the event aims to help grow new ecosystems in which industry, academia, nonprofits, and government combine forces and leverage each other’s assets to achieve outcomes not possible without cooperation.
