UBI Global, an intelligence company that identifies innovation hubs around the world to study and share what makes them successful, and DMZ, the start-up accelerator of Toronto Metropolitan University, have unveiled their ranking of the top incubators and accelerators in the world.
İTÜ Çekirdek at Istanbul Technical University was ranked the number one university business incubator, while Imec, an accelerator with locations at universities in Belgium and across the Netherlands, was ranked the number one university business accelerator.
Universities with incubators that ranked among the top five include Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja in Ecuador, McGill University, Universidad Tecnológica de México, and the University of Toronto.
